1. Step 1

   Choose the kind of strip club you want to go to, if there are options in your area. Some are classier gentlemen's clubs, which may have the most attractive dancers but can also come with high prices for the cover charge, drinks and dances. Others are more like a blue-collar corner bar, which can be more comfortable for some and often times, a lot more fun.

2. Step 2

   Dress with some respect.  You don't have to go overboard (although it may make things more fun) but armpit stains and dirt on your knees will hardly help your rep.  Oh, and tip the doorman when you walk in.  It's a cool move and the easiest way to get noticed.  Trust me, he will tell the dancers about you.  Also, try to get to the clubs early as you may be able to avoid all or some of the cover charge. This will leave you with more money to spend inside.

3. Step 3

   Know how much money you can afford to spend and bring that amount in cash.  Set aside how much more you may be willing to draw from the ATM or your credit card if you are having fun.  The worst mistake a strip club patron makes is to show up with no money.  You will not have fun at a strip club if you are not willing to spend some money.

4. Step 4

   Go with a few friends, who also enjoy this type of entertainment to share the fun with.  Stuffy or judgemental friends will only ruin your time.  Bring the dudes that want to go have fun and fill them in about the ideas on this list.

5. Step 5

   Have a couple of drinks to unwind, but don't overdo it. Nobody at a strip club enjoys entertaining a rowdy or disrepectful drunk.  Sure you can drink but don't be an ass. Choose a designated driver before everyone in the group has a few too many.

6. Step 6

   Tip the dancers well. Most clubs allow the patrons to tip the dancers (with one-dollar bills or more) on stage; tipping well here is a good way to get noticed so that the dancers will stop by your table when they get off stage. Private dances are another story, and can be fun if you have a lot more money to spend.  You are better off being honest about your intentions of doing a private dance or not.  Dancers can smell a liar too!

7. Step 7

   Take notice of and have fun with the creative dancer names--maybe you'll meet a Carousel, Cinnamon, or Mercedes (or Kia, in a lesser establishment).

8. Step 8

   Know and follow the rules of the club. Don't get tossed out for doing or saying something you shouldn't, so that you will be welcomed back in the future.  The best way to enjoy a strip club is to be overly  friendly and generous on your first visit so you will be treated very well for every future visit.  The staff will be excited to see you!
